Nestled in lush greenery in the middle of fields planted with organic farming, the Radray mill is a little paradise on earth. Crossed by a river, planted with remarkable trees and bathed in the song of birds, with family or friends, Christine's gîte will allow you to appreciate the serenity of the place but also to discover the Perche: its small towns of character. , its national forests, its bocage valleys, its castles and mansions. If you are in love with old stones that have a soul and objects found in flea markets, you will appreciate the 17th century fireplace and its bread oven, as well as the dairy converted into a kitchen. The mill, which still has its wheel and its millstone, can be the subject of educational visits (by appointment). The Radray mill will offer you a real haven of peace, in a soothing and bucolic atmosphere. His 3 very sociable cats will welcome you from the gate.

Le lieu est idyllique : en pleine campagne mais à un km seulement des hypermarchés et des petits commerces de détail de Mortagne. La maison a un charme fou et le jardin est un petit éden. Nous avons signalé quelques équipements à la propriétaire, soucieuse d'accueillir ses hôtes au mieux. Personnellement nous aimons notre intimité et le gîte est conçu pour des personnes peut-être plus conviviales que nous. Ainsi la terrasse en graviers ouverte sur celle de notre hôtesse et celles des deux autres lieux d'accueil nous a gênées. Un coin de jardin, de l'autre côté de la mare est réservé au gîte mais la distance nous a dissuadée d'y aller prendre nos repas. En revanche, pour y passer un après-midi de farniente ou prendre le café, l'apéritif, c'est l'endroit rêvé. Christine vous fera visiter le moulin et son alimentation en eau, visite privée (un luxe en plein mois d'août) très intéressante. A savoir : la région vit au rythme des parisiens et les petits commerces de Mortagne sont pour la plupart fermés du dimanche midi au jeudi.

Merci Martine. Le gîte n'a pas de WC au RDC et je comprends que, pour des séniors, cela ait pu gêner votre confort. Nous songerons à y remédier lors d'éventuels futurs travaux. Bonne continuation

Nous avons passé 4 jours merveilleux au moulin de Radray. Accueillis chaleureusement par Christine et 3 adorables chats, nous nous sommes sentis dans un cocon tout de suite. Ce site de caractère a une âme, son histoire en témoigne et ses arbres centenaires en sont les plus beaux témoins. Le bruit de l'eau, celui du vent, et le chant des oiseaux sont les seuls doux sons qui viennent à vos oreilles, les siestes y sont donc délicieuses et récupératrice. La maison est très bien équipée, on y est comme chez nous. À noter la literie d'une excellente qualité et une décoration choisie et stylée dans le respect de l'âme de la batisse. Christine, la propriétaire,est passionnée, elle est très bienveillante, sait être présente et discrète. Si vous souhaitez arrêtez le temps pour vous ressourcer ce site vous attend. Nous, nous reviendrons !

L'intérieur du micro-ondes n'avait pas été nettoyé parfaitement, j'en suis confuse. De votre côté, vous ne m'avez pas signalé avoir trop enfoncé les boutons du LV. J'ai du faire intervenir un réparateur. Sans rancune et heureuse que vous ayez passé un bon séjour.
